AKBAR BIRBAL - 2019

Annual day was celebrated with great fervor and excitement. Mr. Vinay Sehgal graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Mr. Mahesh Saxena, as Guest of Honor along with Mr. Rajender Jindal and Mr. J K Gupta (Owner, Miniland Public School) as special invitees. This year the students of GSV presented Annual Play ‘Akbar Birbal’ which created lively atmosphere.

 

JAMUN KA PED - 2018

Once again student of GSV showcased their talent in their Annual Play. “Jamun Ka Ped” the 10th Annual Play by GSV students was performed on 8th June 2018 in Chinmaya Mission. Mrs. Sheila Dixit, Former Chief Minister of Delhi graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The play is written by Shri Krishnachandra and Directed by Mr. Nadeem Khan

 

Chauraha - 2017

Annual Play “Chauraha” was successfully performed by GSV students on 10th June at Cambridge School, Noida and on 30th June at Chinmaya Mission Auditoriam, Delhi. The Play was about the life journey of people living on roads and footpath. Pandit Bhajan Sopori a renowned Santoor player & musicologist graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Ms. Stuti Narayan Kacker, Chairperson - National Commoision for the protection of child rights as Guest of Honour on 30th June. We also had special guests Mrs. Sheila Dixit, Former chief Minister of Delhi and Mr. Priyank Kanungo, Member Education on 30th June, 2017. The Students performed Guru Vandana and Uzebekistani Dance under the guidance of Ms. Bhakti

Idgah - 2015

Idgah is a Hindustani story written by the Indian author Munshi Premchand. Munshi Premchand wrote in urdu with the name of Nawab Rai .It is one of the most well-known stories of Premchand.

Idgah tells the story of a four-year-old orphan named Hamid who lives with his grandmother Amina. Hamid, the protagonist of the story, has recently lost his parents; however his grandmother tells him that his father has left to earn money,and that his mother has gone to Allah to fetch lovely gifts for him. This fills Hamid with hope, and despite Amina's worry surrounding their poverty and her grandson's well-being, Hamid is a happy and positive child.

Tha Play was based on life of Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi who was one of the leading figures of the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and became for Indian nationalists a symbol of resistance to the British Raj.
