Learning Beyond the Class Room
The students are regularly taken for excursions, educational trips to see the world at large. This offers them a broad spectrum of opportunities to learn about people and places.
- A three days Summer Camp was organized by Mercer India at our school. They conducted various activities such as Art and Craft, Games, Quiz for Junior students and explained the Usage of Internet along with Group Discussions for Senior students. The session ended with the prize distribution and refreshment.
Immunization Camp
Max India foundation and Sopra Steria organised immunization camp on 16-11-2018 at morning park school. Around 100 students got benefits who were between 5 to 16 years of age.
Movie watching
Wave cinema sponsored movie Sui Dhaga for GSV students and teachers on 24/10/18. Classes 5th to 12th ( appx. 190 students ) watched for movie along with teachers.
Share & Care Event in Sopra Steria, Noida
Sopra Steria Noida invited 5 students from classes 9th to 12th to participate in quiz program in 'Share and Support' event on 15/11/18. GSV students grabbed 2nd position in the quiz. After the program Saswati ma'am shared their future plan for all NGO's students. GSV students also performed a dance in the event.
Van Sanrakshan Week
40 students from classes 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th were invited to Okhla Bird sanctuary to celebrate Van Sanrakshan week on 02/10/18. The forest management had made sitting arrangements at the entrance of sanctuary. Students were asked to write an essay on 'importance of forests, animals and birds in human life'. Refreshments were distributed after the activity.
