In Feb 2025 made possible by Sopra Steria, a long-standing funder of GSV, 57 students of classes 6-12 joined eight schools in a high energy clash in Kabaddi & Kho Kho at the sports grounds of Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir sector 31 NOIDA for a 2-day sports event. The selection of the players threw a tough challenge for the teachers Ms Janki and Ms Anjana, focussing closely on the individual skill and speed. The challenge came from a close matching agility & flexibility of a large number of students. Despite a lean lead time, the students prepped suitably for a tough fight to their competitors.
GSV currently does not have a regular sports program. However, despite the fact the players proved their proclivity to sports by giving a tough fight to their competitors who perhaps were regular players. The first day saw both our girls Kho-Kho teams win a Gold (senior)and a Silver ( junior) medal while the second day proved the readiness of GSV in Kabaddi with two boys teams (senior & junior) winning a silver each and the girls team , a Bronze.
