The 15th edition of the GSV Annual Play was held on 11 July 2026 at  Cambridge School Sector 27, NOIDA. Gyan Se Sammaan (Respect from Knowledge) saw participation of approx 40 children in the play while 20 more particpated in additional cultural activities. Ms Vandana Arun, CSR Head, Sopra Steria India Ltd, graced the occassion as Chief Guest.

The production took the audience through a rustic rural set-up, where people followed no structure through the day and also succumbed to any challenges that fell their way. A crafty king ruled the region, submerged in luxuries while his subjects reeled in penury also giving up to the king’s orderlies who would exploit them. Two girls belonging to the village, having now been educated, returned & began to turn the tide by introducing education.

Through the intriguing and compelling storyline, set and costumes, the story meanders through daily lives of the people combining laughter, conflict and reflection and finally empowerment and enlightenment through ‘Education’

Each year GSV celebrates holistic education by showcasing the abilities of the students through an Annual Play along with a few more performances. The play is meticulously selected to build as a medium of knowledge and change. Year after year Mr Nadeem, Mr Afaaq and team training the students in multiple aspects of personality development like public speaking, building confidence, scaling up communications and also carving an alternative career path for them. A few of the students have taken to theatre as their career as a result of this activity. Gaurav, an alumni of GSV, is part of the professional theatre group that trains the students of GSV for plays.
